Only 16 Weeks or so to go!

I decided I would give this blogging thing a try to keep family friends updated with what is going on in my life with so many of us being so far away.

As of right now I am 5 1/2 months pregnant with baby #2! We are due at the beginning of June, but Adam and I feel like this little guy will be here by the end of May. I have been blessed with another very easy pregnancy. I don't know how I got to be apart of the lucky 20% that doesn't get morning sickness, but I did so I am not complaining.

My belly on 2/18/11. 24 weeks and 1 day prego with number 2.

I am truly amazed at how much Sophia is talking these days. For several months she wasn't adding any new words to her vocabulary and then all of a sudden a month before her 2nd Birthday she started adding 1 or 2 words a day. She can count to 10, recognizes about 5 or 6 letters, knows 11 colors and 6 shapes. She is such a sweet, smart little girl, but she also has her drama side. I always say she got that from her dad ; ).

I can't wait to see what Sophia is going to be like as a big sister. Two of my local friends had babies last October and Sophia just loves them! Everytime we are in a store and she see's a baby she gets really excited. And when she hears one crying or fussing she always says, "baby sad".

I think that it is going to be really fun to have one of each. I am dissapointed that I won't get to use Sophia's baby clothes again since we are done after this little guy arrives, but I am also really enjoying shopping for baby boy clothes.
